1. What are the Dates and Hours of Homearama?
Homearama is July 14 - 29, 2012.
The Hours of Operation are: Mon-Fri: 5 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Saturdays - 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Sunday - 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
The ticket gate closes an hour and a half prior to the closing times listed.
Tickets are $10 per person and there will be a Dual-Site ticket available (price to be announced). Cash only - personal checks acceptable with the proper identification.
2. Why does the ticket gate stop selling tickets an hour and a half before the Show ends?
To see all of the homes you will need a good hour and a half.
3. What do I wear?
One thing is for certain - wear your walking shoes. Homearama is very casual and given the summer heat shorts are the attire of choice.
4. How will I beable to remember everyhting I saw?
With your paid addmission you will get a Plans Book - this magazine has great detailed descriptions and renderings of each home.
5. Are the homes handicap accessible?
The homes are not accessible in most every case. The builders do offfer information on their homes in the garage area and these are accessible to the hadicap.
6. I might be there more than 2 hours, what if I get hungry or thirsty?
The Homearama has a concession area that serves up some of the best hot dogs and brats in town. Sodas, Lemonade, bottled water and beer are also sold.
