Homearama 2010 at Shakes Run offers a look into the Future of Housing

LOUISVILLE, KY, June 25, 2010 - Homearama 2010 at Shakes Run will be open July 10th – 25th. This year’s event will showcase 10 ENERGY STAR qualified homes that incorporate elements of the future of housing. National trends and consumer preferences are creating a demand for smaller and smarter houses. Homearama 2010 highlights these changes in houses by featuring smaller footprints (by Homearama standards) with functional design elements, including open floor plans, larger shared spaces and slightly smaller private, bedroom areas, as well as outdoor living elements. These homes will also feature the latest technological amenities and energy efficiencies.

As always, Homearama 2010 offers ideas and inspirations for your own home by showcasing the latest trends in interior decorating, furnishings and colors. Each home will be completely furnished and professionally interior decorated, allowing your imagination to be delighted with visions for your own new home or redecorating project as you visit each unique home.

While you’re touring the homes, you’ll surely take notice of the gorgeous natural amenities provided by the Shakes Run community.
