As you follow the signs to Homearama you will see signs for Parking. Please follow these signs to the area that has been designated for the show parking once parked look for the shuttle drop off pick up stations. Please note, there will be golf cart shuttles to take you to and from the event. You may also park on any open street parking if you prefer to walk.

 

There is ample street parking throughout Norton Commons and the Event Area but you may want to consult your map to make sure you can handle the walk from your car to the event area.

All persons assume all risks for parking their vehicle including but not limited to theft, damage to their vehicle, and/or their person.

 

Is handicapped parking available? 

Yes, there is designated handicap parking. Must have handicap sticker/license plate to park in this designated area.

HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY

While the event site is Handicapped Accessible and there will be an ADA restroom on site - the homes themselves are not easily accessible to those with mobility issues. Please be prepared to be able to walk up and down steps if you enter the homes.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED:

No strollers allowed in houses.

No food or drinks allowed in houses.

No outside alcohol or food allowed on premise.

No pets or animals allowed  on site unless they are certified service animals. 

No umbrellas are allowed in the houses.

CHILDREN

​Children under 12 are free with a paying adult.  Please note all children 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please note, out of an abundance of caution, there WILL NOT be a play area for children at this year's show.

RAIN

Event will be held rain or shine. Attendees may bring umbrellas but will be asked to leave them outside each home. 

CONCESSIONS 
There will be concessions food, beverages, and bar on site. Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted. 

We ask that no food or beverages be taken into the home.

Is there an ATM on-site? 

NO ATM ON SITE! There are several banks within the area.

 

COVID-19 WARNING*:

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 (including any and all variants) is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. You assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness—including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19 or any other bacteria, virus, or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether that exposure occurs before, during, or after the event, and regardless of how caused or contracted—and you hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against BIA of Greater Louisville and it's affiliates, Homarama Show and any companies affiliated with Homearama - relating to such risks, hazards, and dangers.

INDEMNIFICATION:

All participants of Homearama, including but not limited to attendees, exhibitors, builders, contractors, agree not to sue and further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville, Inc. (BIA) and its agents, employees, officers, directors, representatives and affiliates, including the Show Director, against all loss, costs, damages, liabilities, actions, causes of action, demands, claims or injury of any nature whatsoever brought or asserted by any person and in any way connected with, arising out of or claimed to be arising out of participation in Homearama. This agreement to indemnify, defend and hold harmless extends to all claims of injury or damage related to your actions whether direct or indirect, incidental, or consequential, regardless of whether they are the result of the negligence of BIA. This agreement to indemnify, defend and hold harmless also includes, without limitation, (1) all claims, demands and actions arising out of or in any way related to any license, copyright, trademark or patent rights or laws, and (2) all claims, demands and actions related to any theft or claim of theft of any personal property. (3) all claims to injury resulting from your participation in Homearama  (including, but not limited to, any personal injuries resulting from a slip and fall in, upon or about the Premises) 4) This indemnification carries over to all COVD-19* risks that may be associated due to your participation in Homearama.

DISCLAIMER

Neither the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville (“BIA”) nor Homearama endorses, implies endorsement, or warranties any of the contents on the Homearama website or other online or printed materials hereafter referred to Homearama Credentials.  BIA and Homearama disclaim any and all liability for any claims or causes of action arising directly or indirectly in connection with homes, descriptions, plans, builders, developers, trades people, vendors, or real estate agents in Homearama. 

All home plans and descriptions displayed on Homearama Credentials are supplied by participants and not verified by BIA or Homearama.  Neither BIA nor Homearama act as seller or sellers agent.  Do not rely on the Homearama Credentials for information when contemplating the purchase or sale of property.  
All images and home plans are copyrighted and not to be duplicated without the written permission of the builder to whom they belong.  Illustrations as well as photographs may not depict an exact likeness of the completed structures, the square footage may be an estimate, and room designations may or may not represent code compliance.

Homearama does not warrant that the functions of the Homearama Credentials will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the materials.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by  BIA and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar BIA events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of BIA. You release BIA, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by BIA or the person or entity designated to do so by BIA. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
